IN LOVING MEMORY OF… (Single) “In Loving Memory Of…” is a deeply moving piece that captures the raw emotions of grief and remembrance. Gladiee’s masterful composition evokes a profound sense of love and loss, making it a touching tribute to those who are no longer with us. This final song of the album “9/11 Love Story” reflects the all encompassing tribute and honors not only the victims of 9/11 but also Gladiee’s dear friend Mitchell Kaminsky and all others who have tragically lost their lives. This broad tribute ensures that the memory of all those affected is preserved and cherished. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story”:“September 11, 2001, remains one of the darkest days in the history of New York City, and indeed, the world. On that fateful morning, the city that never sleeps was brought to its knees as the World Trade Center towers, symbols of America’s economic might and ambition, collapsed in a cataclysm of dust, debris, and despair. The events of that day left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of millions, and the aftermath has been felt by countless more around the globe. The impact of the 9/11 attacks was not limited to the physical destruction of the towers. It reverberated through the lives of those who were there, those who lost loved ones, and those who watched in horror from afar. The memories of that day are etched into the collective consciousness, a painful reminder of the fragility of life and the unexpected nature of tragedy. Among the many stories of loss and heroism that emerged from the ashes of 9/11 are those of the individuals who found themselves trapped in the upper floors of the North Tower, unable to escape as the building burned and crumbled around them. On the 106th floor, the “Windows on the World” restaurant, once a beacon of luxury and elegance, became a scene of unimaginable horror. Those who remained there, including my friend Roman and Julia, faced the grim reality that escape was impossible. In their final moments, they sought solace in each other, clinging to their love as they prepared to face the inevitable. This book is dedicated to the memory of those who perished on that tragic day. It is a tribute to the lives lost, the families torn apart, and the bravery of those who stood tall in the face of fear. “In Loving Memory of…” is not just a reflection on the past, but a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit, the power of love, and the importance of remembering those who are no longer with us. As we remember the events of September 11, 2001, let us honor the memory of those who died, and let their stories serve as a beacon of hope and resilience for future generations.”
  • Marked For Eternity - Track
MARKED FOR ETERNITY (Single) © 2024
MARKED FOR ETERNITY (Single) This composition is inspired by the stark imagery of individuals covered in white dust from the collapsing towers, a symbol of the shared trauma and unity on that fateful day. This visual is brought to life through the music, making “Marked For Eternity” a powerful auditory memorial. The white dust acted as a unifying factor, visually erasing distinctions between people. Office workers, firefighters, police officers, and paramedics were all equally covered, symbolizing the indiscriminate nature of the disaster and the shared experience of those present. This imagery emphasizes how all were marked by the tragedy, regardless of their roles or identities. Using 88 bpm can symbolize the infinite journey of innocent souls to heaven, highlighting the eternal nature of their memory and legacy. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story”:“The catastrophic collapse of the World Trade Center towers on September 11, 2001, they generated enormous dust clouds that enveloped the surrounding area, leaving hundreds of densely populated city blocks covered in a thick layer of ash, debris, and a fine white dust composed of pulverized drywall and other building materials. The scale of the destruction was staggering. The towering plume of dust and debris reached an estimated height of 3,000 feet, casting a shadow over the city and spreading fine particles and contaminants as far as two miles from the World Trade Center site. This widespread distribution of dust and debris was primarily a result of the immense force with which the towers collapsed, pulverizing vast amounts of concrete, steel, glass, and other materials. The impact transformed the once iconic structures into a massive cloud that blanketed the city, leaving a lasting mark on both the physical landscape and the collective memory of New York City. The events of 9/11 left an indelible mark on all who experienced it, whether they were directly involved or witnessed it from afar. The physical covering of dust serves as a metaphor “Marked for Eternity” by leaving emotional and psychological scars that would remain with survivors and responders for the rest of their lives.”
  • Road To Heaven
ROAD TO HEAVEN (Single) © 2024
ROAD TO HEAVEN (Single) While “Road to Heaven” is a tribute to the victims of 9/11, its themes of love, loss, and eternal memory resonate universally. The composition speaks to anyone who has experienced grief, offering comfort and a sense of connection through its beautiful melodies. Composed at a tempo of 88 bpm, the song strikes a perfect balance between serenity and contemplation. The number 88 symbolizes infinity and eternal life, mirroring the endless journey of the souls commemorated in this piece. This thoughtful tempo choice enhances the emotional and spiritual impact of the music. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story”:“The impact itself spared everyone on the 106th floor from direct harm, as the crash did no immediate damage to their level but the stairs were rendered completely inaccessible due to the wreckage below. With stairwells blocked by debris from Flight 11’s impact zone, the once-luxurious setting of “Windows on the World” was transformed into a chaotic scene of destruction, filled with the growing realization that escape routes were cut off. The tranquility of cozy restaurant was shattered in an instant as the plane, attacking from the north at a slight angle, tore into the 93rd through 98th floors below. This devastating collision created an inferno that quickly began to consume the entire tower, trapping those on the upper floors in a nightmare scenario. The impact had also severed elevator service above the 50th floor, effectively isolating those above the crash zone, leaving them with no means of escape. As the minutes passed, the situation grew increasingly dire. Spilled aviation fuel ignited, setting the lower floors ablaze and creating a hellish environment that rapidly advanced toward those trapped above. The intense heat and the encroaching wall of flames forced people on the burning floors below to make an agonizing choice to jump from the windows in a desperate attempt to escape the fire. For many, this was the only option, a heart-wrenching decision that underscored the sheer horror of the unfolding events. Amidst this nightmare, Julia, Roman, and the others who remained on the 106th floor quickly grasped the gravity of their situation. Together, they moved toward an unoccupied area on the west side of the building, which, at least initially, was free from smoke and fire. In this moment of despair, they found themselves staring at a bleak horizon, fully aware that their chances of survival were rapidly diminishing. Yet, in their final moments, they clung to each other, finding solace in their true love as they faced the unimaginable together by preparing themselves to Road to Heaven.”

BLACK DANCE (HUGGED BY DEATH) Single The title “Black Dance-Hugged by Death” serves as a powerful artistic statement, aiming to evoke deep emotional responses from listeners. It underscores the gravity of the 9/11 events and personalizes the tragedy by focusing on the intimate story of a couple’s final moments. The phrase “hugged by death” poignantly captures the couple’s tragic fate. In their final moments, they are metaphorically “embraced” by the inevitability of death as they face the catastrophic collapse of the tower. This imagery conveys the helplessness and inevitability of their situation, turning their final moments into a haunting dance with mortality. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story”:“Yet, this dance was not one of joy and celebration. It was a tragic dance, symbolizing the doomsday of their lives. The clock’s hands, entwined in a fatal embrace, mirrored the final moments of their love. Shielded from the flames and smoke by his protective hold, they found solace in each other’s arms, even as the world around them descended into chaos. In that fleeting instant, their love was both immortalized and doomed, captured in a timeless embrace as they prepared to die together. This haunting moment, where love and fate intertwined, remains a poignant reminder of the fragility and strength of the human spirit in the face of overwhelming tragedy.”

REST IN PEACE MY LOVE (Single) “Rest In Peace My Love” delves into the profound emotions of mourning and remembrance. Gladiee’s composition weaves a tapestry of sorrow and love, offering a musical journey that resonates with anyone who has experienced loss. The melody and harmonies are crafted to evoke a sense of peace and reflection, making it a deeply moving experience. The composition lasts for precisely 9 minutes and 11 seconds, a poignant nod to the date of the 9/11 attacks. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story”:On the morning of September 11, 2001, Roman, Julia, and Julia’s mother decided to start their day with breakfast at the iconic “Windows on the World” restaurant, perched high on the 106th floor of the North Tower. As they enjoyed the breathtaking views of the city below, the conversation centered around the upcoming wedding of Roman and Julia, planned for Saturday, September 15, 2001, at the intimate “Wild Blue” restaurant, a place that had become a special part of their lives. Julia’s mother had an important errand to run that morning she needed to pick up a custom-made wedding decoration from the LMCC (Lower Manhattan Cultural Council) Open Studios on the 92nd floor. She had been working closely with Michael Richards, an artist-in-residence known for his poignant and thought-provoking works. Michael had finished the piece and was waiting for her to collect it. Unfortunately, Michael, along with Julia’s mother, was caught in the tragedy that would soon unfold. Richards had spent the previous night in his studio, opting to stay and work rather than making the two-hour journey back to his home in Queens. As the morning progressed, tragedy struck when American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower between floors 93 and 99, just above where Julia’s mother and Michael were. The impact rendered the elevators inoperable, and the debris from the crash zone blocked all three stairwells leading from the 92nd floor, sealing the fate of those who found themselves trapped there. In the midst of chaos, Julia’s mother managed to make one final, heartbreaking call from the LMCC Open Studios floor. Her voice, filled with fear, conveyed the gravity of the situation she was trapped with others on the 92nd floor, the air thick with smoke, making it nearly impossible to breathe. Her words were cut short as the line went dead, leaving Roman and Julia in a state of unimaginable grief. As Julia realized the call had ended, she hung up the phone, her hands trembling. With tears streaming down her face, she whispered, “Rest in peace, Mom, you are my love.” Unable to hold back her sorrow any longer, Julia broke down, crying uncontrollably, her heart shattered by the tragic loss of her mother. No one on the 92nd floor or above survived the horrific events of that day. Julia’s mother, like so many others, was lost in the tragedy, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, forever entwined with the catastrophic events that reshaped the world.

MY PAIN (Single) This powerful piece encapsulates the profound sorrow and resilience associated with the tragic events of 9/11. A song lasting 9 minutes and 11 seconds allows for a more extensive and immersive emotional journey. It provides ample time to explore the depth of pain, sorrow, and reflection associated with the 9/11 attacks. The extended duration can help convey the magnitude of the tragedy and the enduring emotional scars left behind. The duration itself becomes a part of the artistic expression, adding layers of meaning to the composition. It transforms the song into a multidimensional piece of art that resonates on both a numerical and emotional level. Gladiee dedicated 9 month and 11 days from January 1st of 2016 till September 11th of 2016 to compose this piece. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story”:“Windows on the World” opened its doors on April 19, 1976, as an exclusive private club nestled atop the North Tower of the World Trade Center. With 1,500 initial members, the club’s allure was tied directly to its prestigious location WTC tenants paid $360 annually, while those living outside the “port district” could join for just $50. In the early days, even non-members could experience the luxury of “Windows on the World” by paying $10 in dues and $3 per guest. It wasn’t long before the restaurant became a magnet for the city’s elite high-powered businessmen, influential politicians, and glamorous celebrities. Within its first year, the restaurant’s popularity skyrocketed, with reservations fully booked for six months in advance. Perched on the 106th and 107th floors of the North Tower, “Windows on the World” wasn’t just a dining venue; it was an experience. With the capacity to host between 400 and 450 guests, it quickly earned a reputation as one of New York City’s most prestigious dining spots, offering unparalleled views of the city’s iconic skyline and beyond. The complex wasn’t limited to the main dining area it also housed intimate venues like the “Wild Blue” restaurant, the “Greatest Bar on Earth,” and various private dining rooms, each contributing to the overall grandeur of the establishment. This made “Windows on the World” more than just a restaurant; it became a landmark, a must-visit for both locals and tourists alike, celebrated for its luxurious atmosphere and breathtaking panoramic views that left an indelible mark on anyone who visited. Among the different spaces within the complex, Julia and Roman found their haven in “Wild Blue,” a cozy and intimate American restaurant with only 55 seats. This small, beloved spot offered a unique ambiance described by New York’s newspaper reviews as a place where, “When night falls, Wild Blue feels like a plush space capsule hurtling through the cosmos.” The allure of this setting, combined with its exclusivity, made it their favorite retreat. On that fateful morning of September 11, 2001, at 8:46 AM, American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower, instantly transforming their cherished space into a site of devastation. Seventy-nine employees of “Windows on the World” lost their lives that day, marking one of the darkest moments in New York City’s history. The memory of “Windows on the World” and its iconic venues, like “Wild Blue,” remains etched in the hearts of those who experienced its beauty. It stands as a poignant reminder of the lives lost and the vibrancy that once filled the skies above Manhattan.
  • River Of Anxiety

RIVER OF ANXIETY (Single) Experience the haunting beauty and emotional intensity of “A River of Anxiety”. This track takes listeners on a profound journey through the turbulent waters of fear and uncertainty, masterfully blending musical elements to evoke a visceral response. Composed at an unusual tempo of 54 bpm, “A River of Anxiety” deliberately slows down the pace to reflect the dragging, oppressive nature of anxiety. This tempo choice enhances the composition’s eerie and unsettling atmosphere, drawing listeners into the heart of its emotional landscape. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story:On September 10, 2001, the East Coast experienced a shift in weather as a cold front swept through, bringing rain and thunderstorms. It had been a warm, sticky day, the warmest of the month with temperatures reaching a high of 86°F and a low of 68°F. By late afternoon and evening, the passing cold front unleashed thunderstorms, drenching the city with nearly an inch of rain between 6:15 and 6:45 PM. However, the storm cleared the skies, setting the stage for the next day’s stunningly beautiful weather across the Northeast. The morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, dawned clear and crisp, with a flawless blue sky. It was the kind of day that seemed almost too perfect, a sharp contrast to the tragedy that would soon unfold. At 6 a.m., the temperature in New York City was a cool 64°F, rising steadily to a comfortable 72-76°F by 11 a.m. A gentle northwest breeze, blowing at 6 to 12 mph, promised a day of calm, untroubled by the usual hustle of the city. Roman stepped outside his house to retrieve a newspaper from his car, parked just in front. He had picked up the latest edition of The New York Times the previous night after attending Michael Jackson’s concert at Madison Square Garden. The front page of the September 10, 2001, issue boldly declared, “Bloomberg Edges Green in Race for Mayor,” highlighting the intense primary battle between Republican Michael Bloomberg and Democrat Mark J. Green. The city was buzzing with the anticipation of the Democratic and Republican primaries, scheduled for September 11, 2001. As Roman walked back toward his house, something unusual happened. Three black cats suddenly crossed his path, one after the other. He froze, feeling a wave of unease wash over him. The sight of one black cat was unsettling enough, but three? It felt like a bad omen, a harbinger of something dark. A river of anxiety surged through his mind, and he instinctively wanted to chase the cats away, to avoid crossing the invisible line of bad luck they seemed to draw. But the cats darted off, slipping into the shadows, leaving Roman standing there, trapped by his own superstitions and the ominous feeling that something was terribly wrong.
  • Melted Love Song
    MELTED LOVE (Single) © 2024
MELTED LOVE (Single) “Melted Love” is a poignant music composition that encapsulates the tragic end of a profound love story amidst the fire and debris of the collapsing Twin Towers on September 11, 2001, in Manhattan. The title “Melted Love” symbolizes the intense and heartbreaking dissolution of love in the face of an unimaginable catastrophe. While rooted in the specific events of 9/11, the themes of “Melted Love” are universal. It speaks to anyone who has experienced love and loss, making it a song that resonates deeply with a wide audience. Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story:Michael Jackson’s “30th Anniversary Celebration: The Solo Years” at Madison Square Garden, the World’s Most Famous Arena, took place over two unforgettable nights Friday, September 7, and Monday, September 10, 2001. These concerts were more than just performances; they were once-in-a-lifetime experiences that etched themselves into the memories of everyone fortunate enough to attend. You couldn’t purchase a memory as vivid and electrifying as witnessing Michael Jackson live on stage at Madison Square Garden. By 10:45 that night, the entire arena was on its feet, caught in the spell of Jackson’s magnetic performance of “Beat It.” The energy was palpable as Michael sang, danced, and commanded the stage: Beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it) No one wants to be defeated Showing how funky and strong is your fight It doesn’t matter who’s wrong or right (who’s right) The backup dancers moved in perfect sync, the crowd joined in, singing and screaming in unison, their collective excitement building with every beat. Julia kept stealing glances at Roman, her heart swelling with joy to see him as enthralled as she was. As Jackson traded vocal riffs with the lead guitarist, Julia squeezed Roman’s hand, her eyes conveying the sheer amazement she felt in that moment. The song hadn’t even ended when the crowd erupted in a thunderous roar of appreciation. Five minutes later, the arena’s 20,000 attendees were whipped into a state of near hysteria as six stunning female dancers took the stage, gyrating to the infectious rhythm of Michael’s latest hit, “You Rock My World.” After a quick costume change, Michael reappeared through a faux door on stage, now clad in a sleek black leather jacket, white pants, and a white V-neck T-shirt. The stage was a labyrinth of camera cables, yet somehow, Michael and his dancers navigated the space flawlessly, their choreography precise and mesmerizing. No one stumbled, no one missed a step, and the performance was captured on film, immortalizing the magic for future generations. As the song reached its final crescendo, Usher and Chris Tucker joined Michael on stage, sending the audience into an even higher state of frenzy. The music hit its last downbeat, and Michael, exhausted but exhilarated, collapsed to the floor for a brief moment of recovery. Rising to his feet, he looked out at the adoring crowd, his voice booming, “I love you! Goodbye!” before disappearing from the stage. The entire arena was on its feet, clapping, shouting, desperate for the night to never end. Roman’s hands throbbed from the intensity of his applause, while Julia worried she might lose her voice from all the screaming. But the “30th Anniversary Celebration: The Solo Years” concert had drawn to a close. The star wasn’t coming back, and the house lights came up, signaling the end of a night that would live on in history. As the crowd slowly began to transition back to reality, shuffling toward the exits, Roman turned to Julia, his eyes wide with awe, “Wow! We were here, at Michael’s last reunited concert for the first time in 20 years with his brothers from the Jacksons.” Julia shook her head in disbelief, still reeling from the experience. “If I never see another concert, I just won’t care. That was a concert for the history books!” she replied, her voice tinged with the lingering excitement of the night.”

“I WAS NOT ONLY CREATIVELY INSPIRED, BUT ALSO OBLIGATED TO LEAVE A TRAIL OF GLORY OF THE PEOPLE OF NEW YORK. ” – Gladiee Here is the true story of how I was not only creatively inspired but also felt an obligation to devote my time, soul, music, and creativity to those who died during the September 11 attacks. I was compelled to honor the legacy of the brave souls who stood shoulder to shoulder, helping to rebuild the magnificent city of New York, the city of kings. This music album is but one piece of my larger project, “9/11 Love Story.” I hope to find the time and resources to support the other parts of this memorial, including my forthcoming book, also titled “9/11 Love Story.” Below is an excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished book, capturing the profound emotions he experienced during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. *Excerpt from Gladiee’s unfinished Book “9/11 Love Story”:“The sky was a clear, unblemished blue. September 11, 2001, started as a gorgeous September morning. The air was crisp, the sky clear, and the weather channel’s forecast was reassuring with a simple announcement: “There are no weather issues for the entire day.” As I stood on Staten Island, I admired the serene, azure sky, blissfully unaware of the unimaginable horror that was about to unfold. At 8:46 AM, the tranquility was shattered as American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. A plume of smoke began to rise, a harbinger of the unimaginable chaos that was about to ensue. Seventeen minutes later, at 9:03 AM, the world seemed to pause as United Airlines Flight 175 struck the South Tower. The shockwaves from the impact reverberated through the city and deep into my soul. Watching from a distance, I felt a mix of disbelief, terror, and helplessness as the South Tower began to collapse. It was as if a nightmare had come to life a surreal and horrific vision that my mind struggled to comprehend. The towers, once symbols of strength and ambition, crumbled to the ground in a cascade of dust and debris. The sight was apocalyptic, forever altering the skyline and our collective consciousness. As I breathed in the acrid scent of smoke flying across Hudson river to Staten Island my heart pounded with the realization of the countless lives being extinguished in those moments. I was supposed to be in Manhattan that morning for a business meeting at 11:30 AM, but fate had kept me on Staten Island. The gravity of the tragedy weighed heavily on me, knowing how narrowly I had escaped being amidst the devastation. Every second felt like an eternity, filled with sorrow and fear. The events of 9/11 left an indelible mark on my soul, a haunting reminder of the fragility of life and the depths of human suffering. This profound sense of loss and despair compelled me to create “9/11 Love Story,” a tribute to the resilience and courage of those who faced the unthinkable. The world had changed in those moments, and so had I.”
